We have seized several illegal e-scooters during recent operations and whilst visiting schools in the area, spoke to children about the law and safety around e-bikes and e-scooters.

More enforcement is planned—please remember, e-scooters cannot be ridden on public roads or pavements.

HGV Weight Limit – Albert Village 

We are pleased to report that during a recent day of action, only two HGVs passed by, and both were legitimately delivering goods to a building site in Albert Village. Patrols and spot checks will continue at different times and locations.

Anti-Social Vehicle Use – Rural Villages 

We held a Beat Surgery in Newton Burgoland and continue regular patrols to tackle misuse of rural spaces. Thank you to residents for sharing information—please keep reporting concerns.
