Weekly Update on Bardon Beat Priorities
We would like to provide you with an update regarding our ongoing priorities within the Bardon area: 1. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Off-Road Biking in Thringstone, Whitwick, and Greenhill
Our team has conducted several high-visibility patrols in the aforementioned areas. Through meaningful engagement with community members, we were able to identify two electric bikes and an off-road motorcycle involved in anti-social behaviour. This information will facilitate both retrospective and proactive measures against the offenders.
With invaluable assistance from the community, we have received multiple intelligence reports that have helped us pinpoint locations of drug use and dealing. Following this, we conducted targeted patrols in these areas and implemented positive actions to enhance community safety and mitigate harm.
A vehicle has been seized due to the absence of valid road tax. In addition, numerous intelligence reports have been generated with community collaboration concerning vehicles operating without road tax. This information will enable us to take necessary retrospective actions. We sincerely appreciate your continued support for the Bardon Beat initiative. Rest assured, we remain committed to addressing the issues that matter most to you as a community.
