❄️ Stay Safe This Winter ❄️ |
||
|
As the colder months set in, we want to remind everyone in our community to take a few simple steps to stay safe:
✅ Secure Your Home – Longer nights can mean more opportunities for crime. Lock doors and windows, keep valuables out of sight, and consider leaving a light on when you’re out. ✅ Drive Carefully – Roads can be icy and visibility poor. Slow down, keep a safe distance, and ensure your lights and tyres are in good condition. ✅ Check on Vulnerable Neighbours – Winter can be tough for the elderly or those living alone. A quick call or visit can make a big difference. ✅ Stay Warm & Prepared – If you’re heading out, dress appropriately and carry essentials like a charged phone and emergency supplies. ✅ Never Leave Your Engine Running Unattended – It might be tempting to warm up your car on cold mornings but leaving your vehicle running while unattended makes it an easy target for thieves.
We’re here for you, so if you see anything suspicious or need assistance, please contact us on 101 or in an emergency dial 999.
Let’s look out for each other and make this winter a safe one for all. 🌟
