👮 Weekly Round-Up: NC04 beat team helping keep Leicester Safe

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

✅ Saturday 22nd – Our team assisted at the Leicester City game, working alongside colleagues from a mounted division. (📸 Spot PC Ellis in the photo!)

✅ Sunday 23rd – Final day of Op Sceptre: high-visibility patrols, knife arches deployed, test purchases (3 fails), and 9 weapons removed from our streets.

✅ Monday 24th – PC Tom and PCSO Jane hosted a Bike Register event at Town Hall Square. Highlight: PC Tom reunited a stolen bike with its rightful owner!

✅ Tuesday 25th – Around 9:00 AM, PC Tom arrested a female causing an obstruction near the underpass. Checks revealed she was wanted on warrant. Thanks to motorists for their patience while we resolved this safely.

✅ Wednesday 26th – PC Dean and PC Elliot have been developing intelligence around suspected drug production on the beat, strengthening our proactive approach to tackling serious crime.

✅ Thursday 27th – We carried out Operation PedalFast, seizing several illegal vehicles. Reminder: don’t buy illegal vehicles for Christmas—check the legislation before you purchase.
