Hello, Good Afternoon, The beat team are constantly reviewing our priorities and would like to share this recent update: Op Pedalfast - To target the use of illegal e-bikes and e-scooters. We have completed a planned operation within the beat where a number of e-scooters have been seized by officers and will remain with our recovery agents. Officers have engaged with local schools to offer education to young people using e-bikes and scooters. We have further planned operations to continue to address the use. HGVs breaching Weight Limit in Albert Village. We continue to receive reports in relation to this. We have a day of action planned where the beat team will spend time in the local area and complete enforcement where deemed appropriate. We are also increasing patrols in the village to identify and deal with those individuals breaching limits and trying to prevent further offending. Anti-social vehicle use in local rural villages. We are working with colleagues in our Rural Beat Team and will be holding a drop in session to be held in Newton Burgoland in the near future. We are still working with local communities to identify those mis-using our rural spaces. Thank you Forest Beat Team. |
