🚨 **Weekly Update on New Beat Priorities**🚨 Please find our weekly updates for the beat priorities within the Bardon area. We continue to commit towards addressing key concerns in your community. 🏍️🗣️ 1. **Off-Road Bikes**: The Beat Team continue to address reports of Anti-Social Behaviour particularly around the use of E-bikes/E-scooters. We often use intelligence reported to us by members of the public to identify perpetrators. We are happy to say that reports of illegal bikes have reduced but this maybe down to the recent wet weather. 🚓 🌞 🌳 2. **Illegal Drug dealing/use **: We have been out completing checks of locations where we have received reports of illegal drug use utilising our search powers under Section 23 misuse of Drugs act. We have also been developing intelligence of locations where we have received reports of drugs being dealt. We regularly link in with our Proactive Team to support warrants and prosecute perpetrators. 🚙 🗣️ 3. **Road Safety - Parking and Speeding**: Our PCSO’s have been out and about around school drop off & pick up times engaging with parents and carers of school children. We have identified several drivers who were parking and causing a danger to pupils leaving schools. They have been given suitable words of advice and if their behaviour continues will be reported for any identified vehicle related parking offences. We appreciate the ongoing support from our community as we strive to enhance safety and wellbeing in the Bardon area. Further updates will follow as we continue our initiatives. Remember if you have any information you wish to pass you can always provide this to the Police anonymously via Crimestoppers either by calling 0800 555 111 or online via the following link http://crimestoppers-uk.org/ Crime prevention advice is available at www.leics.police.uk. 🚓 Kind regards the Bardon Beat team.👮 PC 1058. |
