South Leicester Police - Appeal for Information.

Dear South Leicester Resident.

You are receiving this message as you reside on the area covered by the Freemen police beat team.

Yesterday evening (18/11/2025) PCSO Michelle and I attended a report of a motorbike that had been set alight on the Aylestone Recreational Ground North near to the tree line of the Aylestone Leisure Centre (Knighton Fields Road West).

After Leicester Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the flames the motorbike was found to be a BLACK, KEEWAY 125CC with one visible L plate. The motorbike was without a registration plate and on scene a vehicle identification (VIN) number was not visible.

Due to its location and high temperature the motorbike was not able to be recovered at the time, it has since taken by parks officers at the Leicester City Council.

The motorbike was significantly damaged, but I am appealing to anyone that may have had a motorbike taken in the local area matching the above description. As there is no registration plate or identifiable VIN, I am unable at this time to confirm if this motorbike has been stolen.
