It is suspected the vehicle was removed on a trailer/pick up as the vehicle was not driveable. If you saw this vehicle or have any Dash Cam, please get in touch. 25000658723
Patrols, Police Activity and local engagement
Patrols ongoing around Burbage at targeted times and locations to address the recent burglaries. We have also been speaking to residents regarding concerns around residential burglary and offering support in the area. Residential burglary has been an issue in other areas as well as Burbage, so any information or support you can offer us to identify those involved, is very much appreciated.
Male arrested on Brookfield Road on the 6th of November following patrols. Stop check and search completed. A quantity of Class A drugs found.
We attended the Remembrance Day Service. It was an honour to attend the service, which had a very good turnout, in what was a thoughtful and poignant ceremony to the many sacrifices of our armed forces.
Crime prevention and issues to be aware of
Whilst reports of residential burglary have reduced since Halloween, we are still getting reports. PLEASE remove jewellery from your property if you are on holiday or spending time away from the property. Please keep these items well hidden. Window alarms, fence cactus spikes and light timers are a simple but effective crime reduction option. Get in touch if we can support you with this. (see attached catalogue)
We will be at the Co-op on Boyslade Road tomorrow (12/11/2025), from around 15:00-17:00 for our monthly beat surgery. Please pop along if you need anything.
A resident has been in touch regarding a scam phone call from someone claiming to be from Santander bank, stating there had been a fraudulent payment made. The scammer became extremely rude and abusive when the resident refused to give banking details. Just a reminder, NEVER give your bank details to someone over the phone. If you have concerns around your account, please contact your bank directly.
Thank you and take care.
