|  Weekly Roundup – Leicester City Centre Policing Highlights Week Commencing Sunday 19 October
 
  SundayOfficers supported the Leicester Half Marathon, ensuring safety for runners and spectators throughout the city centre. We also hosted a successful Bike Register event at Town Hall Square, helping cyclists protect their bikes and engage with our team.
 
  MondayVisible foot patrols were carried out around Haymarket Bus Station, where officers engaged with the public and tackled anti-social behaviour. Alcohol was seized from two individuals, reinforcing our commitment to keeping public spaces safe and respectful.
 
  TuesdayOfficers were on standby for Police Support Unit duties while continuing with regular city centre policing commitments, maintaining visibility and reassurance across key locations.
 
  WednesdayWe conducted another round of Operation PedalFast, targeting illegal and anti-social vehicle use. The operation has now resulted in the seizure of over 568 illegal vehicles, reinforcing our commitment to road safety and community protection.
 
  ThursdayA Safer Action Business Day (SABA) was held, focusing on educational engagement with local businesses.
 
  FridayOfficers took part in Method of Entry training, sharpening operational skills to support warrant executions and emergency entries when required.
