New Beat Priorities - October to December 2025 |
||
Good afternoon
Please find below the new beat priorities for the Forest Beat starting October to December 2025.
You Said: The local area has seen a significant increase in the number of electric bikes and scooters being driven. Although this area is a shared space for pedestrians and cycles the amount, speed and manner in which they were being driven has been raised as an issue by the local community. We will: Increase visible patrols in hotspot areas to deter dangerous riding and anti-social behaviour. We will engage with local communities and partners to address concerns and promote responsible use. We will share clear guidance on the legal use of e-scooters and e-bikes and encourage reporting of misuse.
2. Drug Dealing in Hart Drive, Measham. You said: There are issues surrounding drug dealing and associated ASB in Hart Close, Measham. We will: We are still receiving reports in relation to issues relating to drug use in this area. We will continue to work with local residents and partners to resolve the issues.
3. Anti-social vehicle use in local rural villages. You said: We have had reports from concerned local residents in relation to the use of vehicles in an anti-social manner in our rural villages. This includes Newton Burgoland, Snarestone and Swepstone. We will: work with colleagues in our Rural Crime Teams and increase patrols in the specific areas, completing checks to identify those causing harm. | ||
