🚔 Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Ashby-de-la-Zouch 🚔

Today while out on foot patrols in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, a vigilant member of the public alerted officers to a suspicious vehicle. They noticed a false number plate had fallen off, revealing the original plate underneath.

PCSO 6443 ran checks on both plates. The suspected cloned plate came back to a Land Rover Discovery (though it didn’t quite look the part!). Checks on the original plate confirmed the vehicle was stolen. Investigation Ongoing.

Thanks to the sharp eye and quick thinking of the gentleman who reported it, the vehicle was forensically recovered and taken off the streets.
