Neighbourhood Alert – EV Charger Thefts in the Westend

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime - Theft from a vehicle, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.


Hello Westcotes,

We wanted to make you aware of a recent spate of thefts in the Westcotes, where EV chargers left at the front of houses have been targeted.

Please take a few simple steps to help protect your property:

Disconnect and store your EV charger securely when not in use.

If possible, keep chargers out of sight from the street.

Consider adding extra lighting or a security camera near your driveway.

Report any suspicious activity straight away.

Sharing information with one another and keeping an eye out is the best way we can look after our community. Please do pass this message on to friends and neighbours who may not be on this mailing list.
