City Centre Beat β Weekly Roundup
Hereβs a snapshot of just some of the work our team has been doing this week to keep Leicester safe:
#OpPedalfast was back in action on Thursday! Weβve now seized 321 illegal vehicles β thatβs 160 scooters and 161 illegal/modified e-bikes. Two individuals were also arrested for immigration offences on Thursdays Op.
On Tuesday, PCs Ellis and Dean supported the NHS at Westcotes Health Centre with a special allocation scheme β great teamwork across services!
Monday saw an engagement event at Burgess House, where officers joined housing managers for high-visibility patrols to tackle anti-social behaviour and connect with residents.
Officers were deployed on #SaBA to help reduce crime affecting local retailers β supporting businesses and keeping the city centre safe.
PC Tom visited a youth group for asylum-seeking young people, offering crime prevention advice and building positive relationships with the police.
PC Dean met with the Youth Justice Intelligence Officer to share information and progress the management of young individuals involved in ASB.
A busy week of proactive policing, partnership working, and community engagement. Weβre proud to serve!
