On these days we have conducted dedicated high visibility patrols in key retail areas, in person visits to stores offering advice, joint patrols with security and signposting for support. -A prolific shoplifter has been arrested and charged with 4 offences and recalled to prison. -We have continued to seek criminal behaviour orders against those who cause the most harm to our retail community and have another hearing scheduled for September. -PCSO Tim has carried on his great work identifying suspects for shop theft, detaining multiple caught in the act and returning hundreds pounds worth of property to stores. -The team have been supporting John Lewis and their security team to help deter shop theft and ASB. We have had some good results in reducing these issues.

They have all been started on the incremental approach including verbal warnings, written warnings and acceptable behaviour contracts. -From the cohort we have identified 3 who we will be requesting criminal behaviour orders against to tackle their offending and ASB. -PC Dean who has been leading on this piece of work has had regular meetings with youth justice to ensure the relevant support is in place and we are taking appropriate action to address the concerns raised to us. | ||
