South Wigston - Weekly rundown

This week local beat officers have been assisting neighbouring beat teams with a large scale event, providing additional high visibility patrols in the area and maintaining public safety.

Our week has also included:

-Attending a report of somebody exposing themselves in a car, fortunately not as reported

-Attending a road traffic collision on a fast road, fortunately no injuries were sustained

-Assisting our Neighbourhood Priority Team apprehending a shoplifter, leading to a positive outcome for the store

-Around 40 miles of foot patrols for Catherine and Dom (plus plenty of ground covered in vehicles too)

-Dom manned the front desk at Wigston Police Station on Friday to take reports from members of the public 

-This weekend will also include Friday and Saturday night-time policing for Reece and Catherine
