In response to ongoing concerns about parking issues along Market Street, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, officers 4516, 6443 and 6633 were out on patrol today and spotted a vehicle with a trailer parked on the zig-zags near a pedestrian crossing.

We stopped and spoke with the driver, and they’ve been dealt with accordingly.

✅ Patrols will continue to ensure the safety of all road users and pedestrians.

📢 Friendly reminder: Parking on double yellow lines or zig-zags is not only inconsiderate—it’s dangerous. Offenders can expect to receive a minimum £80 fine.
