Issues re ASB and Motorbikes |
||
The local Lutterworth beat team have been out on the beat today, on what has been a very hot and busy shift! I did manage to get out to the Bitteswell Fair along with the local Fire and rescue service for some community engagement (in between supporting our response colleagues on shift). Whilst responding to incidents around the area, I visited some of the areas that have been reported for anti-social behaviour recently.
We are aware of a number of reports regarding motor cross/scrambler style bikes being ridden across the fields in and around Magna Park, Ullesthorpe and Lutterworth. These reports are being monitored by both the local beat team and the rural team and we are trying to identify the culprits.
Can we urge you to contact us if any bikes or other vehicles are seen acting in an anti-social manner, please report either on ☎️ 101 or online 💻 at www.leics.police.uk.
If you are lucky enough to find yourself out in the countryside in the lovely weather and see any stile gates or farm/field gates left open, please take the time to close these behind you. This prevents livestock from roaming free. As lovely as the animals are, the cows are in calving season and can be dangerous when looking after their calves and sheep always seem to find their way onto a road! 🐑 🐄 . It's not easy doing a sheepdogs work!
We will continue to patrol the area, please feel free to stop us and speak to us. #inyourcommunity
