You have raised Road Safety as a beat priority again this month, so we conducted another 'Fatal 4' operation on the beat.

We were joined by police volunteers as well as two special constables from our Roads Policing Unit 

Several drivers were reported for using mobile phones whilst driving - there is no excuse! 

A handful of drivers and passengers were given advice or a traffic offense report for not wearing a seat belt 

One driver was made to secure a loose and potentially hazardous load 

Several drivers had their children's' car seats checked and secured by our expert volunteer 

Overall a fantastic result with offences dealt with accordingly and people educated and advised where appropriate.
