Dear Resident,

This is just a message to update you all around what the Beat Team have been doing this week in relation to the priorities.

Speed checks were completed on Leicester Road and West Cross Lane on Tuesday. We were not visible to motorists to see if the locations are still an issue.  Based on the data gained we will be continuing visible checks at both locations.

Burglary patrols have continued throughout the day and night. We are being assisted by our response colleagues who, where possible, drive through the villages rather than down the main A6. I am very pleased to tell you that there have been no burglaries reported in the last fourteen days 

ASB patrols continue, we have had some reports of motorbikes (we believe to be electric) being ridden on Halstead Park and around the wider village. We are looking to develop intelligence with who these individuals are. If you see them ridding around the village or you know who they might be please call our control room via 101 or call crime stoppers anonymously. Either way the information you provide will filter through to the Beat Team.
