Good Evening Rutland,

Tonight, I have been out on foot, with my big hat on and my high visibility jacket. I’ve racked up over 4 miles in total on my boots this evening and as a Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer, it’s been fantastic engaging with the community, lots of people stopped and spoke with me – thank you to everyone who did 🤝

As you’ll see from the photos, I completed a foot patrol around Uppingham 🌃

I also completed a foot patrol around the village of Ryhall 🏡

On the way to and from, I took different routes to maximise coverage and complete high visibility patrols in our rural villages. I also completed a tour of Oakham. I couldn’t take a photo everywhere, but you’ll see I stopped a few times 📸

During the shift I also responded to the only two Rutland emergencies we had this evening, both on our road network and both for broken down vehicles, one on the A47 and one on the A1 🚨

The night shift is starting imminently, keeping you safe overnight and I’m back tomorrow night 🚔
