Yesterday I visited polling stations with regards to the police and crime commissioner elections. Thankfully everything was all in order on my visits. 

I have also seized 2 vehicles over the last 2 weeks. 1 for causing an obstruction and the other for no tax. Please can I ask members of the public to consider other road users when parking their vehicles and to also remember to tax them if they are to be used on the road. If they are not on the road they need to be declared as SORN.

Can I make members of the public aware there has been a number of burglaries in the area recently. Can I ask members of the public to review their security at their home and consider the following crime prevention measures which will help to boost your security:

*Installing a burglar alarm

*Installing security lights

*Use of window shock alarms

*Use of light timers

*Use of faraday pouches to block the signal from car keys used for keyless entry to vehicles

*Installing CCTV

*Installing a doorbell camera
