We have had another busy week on the Abbey Ward and patrols by the Beat Team have included our Beat priorities.

You Said – 

You are fed up with e-scooters in the area and causing anti-social behaviour.

We Did – 

The Beat Team continue to have an Increase with marked and unmarked patrols around hotspots resulting in seizures, warnings issued and education around legislation. 

You Said – 

Drug use in the area, especially around Abbey Rise.

We Did – 

A male was arrested in the area of Abbey Rise for outstanding offences. The male had initially ran from Officers but he was soon detained with the help and support of the local Beat Team.

You Said – 

Speeding in the local area of Woodstock Rd, Parker Drive and Wiltshire Road was concerning local residents.

We Did – 

There has been a continuation of high visibility patrols in and around the area of Parker Drive by the local Beat Team. There have been no reports made to the Police in relation to speeding in the area last week.
