You are receiving the following email as a resident living on the Freeman Police Beat.

Tacking anti-social behaviour (ASB) remains a priority for the Freeman beat team, this week officers have been conducting high visibility patrols in the Knighton Fields Road West area after an increase in reports of ASB involving a small group of youths. Residents have been spoken to about the reported issue and CCTV has been viewed to identify those involved, footage taken will be shared with partner agencies and local schools to assist us with our enquiries and to tackle this at the earliest opportunity.

After working alongside the local community officers were able to execute a drugs warrant in the Saffron Lane area, several cannabis plants were seized from an address and subsequently destroyed. This is a very positive result for the local team with a large amount of cannabis discovered before it could be cultivated and sold on the street. A message from one of the local neighbourhood Sergeants “raise your concerns to us and we will act”.
