Criminal Behaviour Order issued today

Hello,

We are pleased to report that a man who targeted businesses in Leicester city centre has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order in court today, which will last for one year.

Connor Hebden was sentenced for public order and drugs offences when he appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 16 April).

Hebden has been prohibited from entering the following stores:

Tesco on New Park Street, Leicester; Greggs on Gallowtree Gate, Leicester; McDonalds on East Gates, Leicester; and McDonalds on Market Street, Leicester.

Hebden, 26, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of public order and one count of possession of a Class B drug.

PC Karl Turner from the City Centre Beat Team, said: “We know the impact these offences and anti-social behaviour can have on our businesses in the City Centre.

“We’ll continue to work closely with retailers to tackle such crimes and always encourage victims to report incidents to us so appropriate action can be taken. Criminal Behaviour Orders are just one of the ways we can protect our businesses in the long term.”
