Weekly Update - 14/04/2024 - Your Local Neighborhood Officers

Good evening all,

And before you know it, the weekend is already over sadly!… It's been a busy week for your local neighborhood officers so here's a little read before we go into the new week.

PCSO 6592 Danny visited Lubbesthorpe Primary School for an educating engagement with the assistance of one of the response officers. This was met with warm welcomes, friendly faces and plenty of questions for us! The children even got to try on some of our uniforms and have a sit in our Prisoner Transport van!

PC 1351 Jenny and PCSO 6592 Danny carried out the much valued monthly beat surgery, hosting two on the same day! One at Enderby Coffee Morning and Palmers Garden Centre. It was great to sign more people up to Neighborhood Link and answer the burning questions that you, the community want answered by your local neighborhood officers.

PCSO 6592 Danny has also been conducting inquiries around an increase in anti-social behaviour involving older skateboarders in Lubbesthorpe causing a nuisance and damage to street furniture. Rest be assured this is still being investigated. If you have any information that you feel would help then please do let us know.

PC 1351 Jenny and PCSO 6592 Danny also liaised with local housing and council around some suspicious youths presenting some anti-social behavior on Queens Drive in Narborough. We are pleased to see the kids moved on and not have any further issues here after educating and speaking to those involved.

We are also in the process of looking to book more beat surgeries covering us all the way up to October. More on this to be announced soon.

We hope you all had a lovely week and weekend. If you have any burning questions, causes of concerns or are just curious and wanting some advice. Please do get in touch.

Stay Safe,

PCSO 6592 Danny Yeatman
