Burbage Beat Team Update

Alert message sent 04/03/2020 16:15:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Burbage update for the last week regarding crime and some of  what we have been up to.

* We have had a few reports of a suspicious male around the Brookside, Burbage road, Sapcote road area. We have received an image of the male and I am currently trying to identify him. If you have any information to help please get in touch with me.
* I have also met with residents of Burbage as requested to speak about crime, crime prevention and support going forward. Thank you to those residents who attended. It was a really productive discussion.
* I have been out delivering Neighbourhood link leaflets and speaking to many residents. I have met some fantastic people in the village and have really enjoyed the engagements with people. I will continue to incorporate these leaflet drops whilst patrolling. Areas covered this week include Fletcher Road, Woodstock Close, Lychgate Close and Church Close. We have also had Police Volunteers helping out down on the Sketchley Brook Estate, so a big thank you to them.
* Ongoing patrols continue in relevant areas that have been previously targeted and also at Blackway Meadows allotments where we had reports of drug use. We are currently challenging this through a multi-agency approach.

PLEASE remember to RATE the Email at the bottom of this Email. You can also reply if you would like to see anything different.

I may put a few pictures on Hinckley Police Facebook so be sure to like the page if you are on Facebook.

Thank you and stay safe.
