Crime Prevention Advice

Alert message sent 30/10/2019 09:41:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Yesterday evening we had a report of a lady knocking on doors in Woodhouse Eaves, giving a hard luck story and asking for money.

She turned up at the same address twice and was quite persistent.

Can we remind our residents to keep an eye on elderly neighbours to make sure that they don't get targetted by unwanted cold callers.  If necessary, contact the police on 101 (or 999 in an emergency).

Thanks
Sgt Smart
