Are you Celebrating Diwali

Alert message sent 13/10/2019 17:22:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Members

Hope you all are well. Your local officers are out and about during Diwali Celebrations especially in the area of Belgrave Road Leicester. If you are visiting tonight for the Diwali Celebrations I hope you have a safe night out. Please be aware that there will be road closures on Belgrave Road and surrounding areas so please park sensibly. If you are traveling with young children ensure you make them aware of any meeting points if one goes missing as it will be very crowded.

Before leaving your home to ensure that you have secured your property and vehicle. Utilise segment timers to go on / off every so often to give that impression that someone is at home. If you are not taking your vehicle then take the keys with you incase if someone tries to break in they won't be able to steal your car.

Stay Safe – “If you see something….Say Something and Report it!”
