Hello, hope you are well. I have just been informed of a temporary traffic restriction, details as below.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-
WAKES ROAD, JUNCTION ROAD and BURGESS STREET
WIGSTON:

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A temporary restriction of One-way restriction is required to Wakes Road from its junction with Leicester Road to its junction with Wakes Road roundabout on 19 April 2019 for a period of 6 weeks.
Access from the roundabout to McDonalds will be maintained during the One-way restriction.
A temporary restriction of the parking will also be required on Burgess Street whilst works take place along Burgess Street, this restriction is expected to be in place for up to 4 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water contractors to carry out water mains renewal and related works.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via:-
Bull Head Street, Moat Street, Leicester Road, Wigston

Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
