Good Afternoon
Here are the latest crimes recorded on our systems for Melton Mowbray and the surrounding villages.  If after reading this update there is anything you would like to notify Leicestershire Police about please make contact via Neighbourhood Link.

Theft
February 1st (14:23): Sandy Lane, Melton Mowbray – 6 tonne mini digger stolen by a male who hired it with fraudulent papers.
February 1st (23:00) – February 2nd (10:30): Norman Way, Melton Mowbray – 2 males steal a TV from a hotel.  One of the males then tries to sell the TV to a shop in Leicester.  Enquiries are ongoing.
February 3rd (10:40): Market Place, Melton Mowbray – male steals Lego from display.
February 3rd (17:29): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – known male steals £9 of meat from a petrol station shop.
February 3rd (16:30) – February 4th (16:00): Lag Lane, Thorpe Arnold – lead stolen from church roof.
February 4th (21:31 – 21:35): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – known female steals coffee and sugar from petrol station shop.
Criminal Damage
January 2nd (02:30 – 02:38): Drummond Walk, Melton Mowbray - deliberate ignition of vehicle in communal car park, this also causes damage to fencing near the vehicle.
February 2nd: Quorn Avenue, Melton Mowbray – attempt made to steal lead from residential property.
February 1st (23:00) – February 2nd (02:00): Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray – communal door in block of flats is damaged.
February 2nd (19:25) – February 3rd (08:36): Ross Close, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle found to have passenger window smashed.
Vehicle Crime
January 31st (11:30): Welby Lane, Melton Mowbray – power tools stolen from secure van parked on driveway of house.
