Dear Members of South Leicester

Hello, Hope you all are well. I would like to bring to your attention of three incidents involving a distraction Burglary on our area. They all happened yesterday Wed 18th July in the afternoon. The distraction breaks occurred on Asquith Boulevard  in Knighton, Pasley Road in Eyres Monsell and Dorothy Avenue which boarders near the Aylestone and Eyres Monsell beats of Glen Parva which comes under Blaby area.

The suspect was described as a white male with a short  black beard had knocked on the victims door asking for donations as he is collecting for ‘Disabled Children’. He was using a clipboard asking for people to sign and give donations. He then asks the victim (all are elderly victims) for some water and then manages to talk his way inside the premises. Once inside he manages to steal items from the addresses.

If anyone has any information relating to these Distraction Breaks please get in touch and quote reference 18000338031. If you had a door knock by a similar person than please get in touch especially if you have CCTV.

Thanks for your support.
