Community Update – Braunstone (NW05 Beat) 👮 PC Chelsea attended court today alongside colleagues from Leicester City Council to secure a closure Order. This partnership work is vital in tackling anti-social behaviour and protecting our communities. Please be aware that a Full Closure Order has been granted today for 10 Bennett Walk, Braunstone.
This order is in place until 23:59 on 11/02/2026.
What does this mean?
A Closure Order is issued by the court to restrict access to a property where there has been persistent anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, or serious nuisance. No one is allowed to enter the property during the order period, except those authorised by law.Breaching the order is a criminal offence and can lead to arrest and prosecution.How to report a breach:
If you see anyone entering or attempting to enter the property, please report it immediately by: Calling 101 (non-emergency) or 999 if a crime is in progress.Using the Leicestershire Police website or the Neighbourhood Link app.Speaking to your local officers when you see them on patrol.✅ Reassurance:
