A week on the beat as a PCSO |

🚨 A Week in the Life of a PCSO in Coalville 🚨 Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you a peek into what my week looks like as a PCSO here in Leicestershire. It’s always changing, and that’s what makes it fun! Here’s a little rundown of what went down: **7/11/25**: Kicked off the week at a beat surgery at Hugglescote Co-op. It was awesome chatting with locals and hearing about any issues they’ve got going on. **8/11/25**: We had to seize a car that was cruising around without valid road tax or an MOT. Just part of our usual gig to keep the roads safe. **9/11/25**: Joined up with the team for Remembrance Sunday in Ashby. We helped out with road closures and made sure everything went smoothly for the ceremonies. **10/11/25**: Worked with Youth Justice to help some young folks who’ve been getting into a bit of trouble with anti-social behavior. We talked about their behavior contracts and how to do better. **11/11/25**: Teaming up with North West Leicestershire District Council, we did some door-knocking to check in on ongoing anti-social behavior issues. Also got a call about an abandoned vehicle and helped manage traffic until it could be towed. And that’s just a taste of my week! Every day brings something new, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💪✨ PCSO 6860 | ||
