You can run but can’t hide Last week Bardon Beat officers 6667 / 6860 and response officer 329 attended a call about a male acting suspiciously around Hermitage Lake, Whitwick.
On arrival the male had left the location in a vehicle, after a quick area search the vehicle and male were located. A short exchange was made between the male and officers, when the individual made off, ensuing a short foot chase.
Further response officers flooded the area and quickly located the male.
It was found that the male was in possession of numerous wraps of Class A drugs. This said the male was arrested for possession with the intent to supply.
Following the arrest, a further search of the male’s address led to the seizure of an amount of cash, which is suspected to have been gained through the supply of drugs.
Great teamwork by all beat and response officers involved!! Investigation currently ongoing.
