South Leicester Police - Seized Vehicle's

Dear South Leicester Resident.

You are receiving this message as you reside on the area covered by the Freemen Police Beat Team.

Last week PCSO Spencer and I seized two vehicles on Keble Road, after being made aware that the vehicles had been previously stolen.

The information came to light after the Leicester City Council had been at location issuing warnings to vehicles that had been stationary for a lengthy period, after checking with police the vehicles were noted to have been stolen. PCSO Spencer attended later in the evening to seize the vehicles and ensure they were made safe and secure.

Efforts will now be made to return the vehicles to their rightful owners. Apologies to any residents of Keble Road if they looked out of their windows and saw the cars floating in the air. Due to there location the recovery driver had to lift then onto the removal lorry, thankfully this was done expertly.

If you suspect a vehicle on your road/street to be stolen then please report it to the police, if you think a car has been abandoned or is in a poor state then please report this to your local council.
