Braunstone PC’s and PCSO’s have had another busy set of shifts on the beat!
Several officers have attended various training courses this week as well as attending incidents on neighbouring beats to help out colleagues.
PCSO's 6393, 6612 & 6586 held a beat surgery at the Preloved Community Shop on Wellinger Way. Several residents attended and signed up to our free messaging service, Neighbourhood Link. One of the issues raised and discussed related to motorbikes on the estate and Braunstone Park.
Sgt Wilson and PC 611 attended a joint partnership meeting organised by B-Inspired which was hosted at the young persons group on Cantrell Road, Angels & Monsters.
We have had several burglaries across the beat. Locations include Hopefield Road & Cowdall Road. Keep car and house keys, valuables and cash away from doors and windows and out of sight. Secure homes and outbuildings. If you need any crime prevention advice feel free to pop into the station and speak to a PCSO.
We have issues relating to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in the following areas: Arden Terrace, Bronte Close, Gooding Avenue, Narborough Road, Hollins Road, Newcombe Road, Gaddesby Ave, Wolverton Road, Linacres Road, Walpole Court, and Heyford Road. ASB includes investigating and helping to resolve Neighbour disputes, begging, motorbikes and youths causing ASB. Officers are working with Leicester City Council, The Noise Team, local schools and those involved to resolve these issues.
Tonight PC 4719 & 1217 recovered a pick-up truck which had no Tax. The driver tried to provide a multitude of excuses for why they had no tax, however there are no excuses – Tax your vehicle!
Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events that the beat team are running or attending. If you need to report an incident the call 101 for non-emergency, 999 in an emergency or you can report online by visiting the Leicestershire Police website.
