Good Morning Resident

This week on the Rural South Beat we have been concentrating on two of our priorities; Road Safety & ASB.

We have engaged with our Parish Councils and are looking at ways to increase our visibility in areas where speed is an issue and have had discussions with Rutland Council about the possibility of rolling out more community speed watch schemes. We have also spent time monitoring motorists on the approach to Edith Weston and in and around South Luffenham and Wireless Hill.

Work into identifying specific ASB issues in our villages is ongoing, and we have had some meaningful discussions around responsible dog ownership when out in public. We are reaching out to the MOD and other stakeholders and our enquiries are continuing into how best we tackle the issues at hand.
